Su
Flickinger has a Doctorate in
Education and a Master's in Conflict
Analysis and Resolution. She is a trained
mediator and a member of Maryland Program for Mediator
Excellence (MPME). Grounded in adult learning theory and practice,
she has
facilitated groups, courses, and workshops in both formal and
nonformal educational settings on topics ranging from conflict
response
to diversity training to teaching/learning.
Working closely with organizational
leadership, she has guided strategic
planning
processes as well as consulted on shorter-term organizational
development issues.
She has led executive performance evaluations
and board evaluations,
conducted project
evaluations, developed training modules on evaluation,
and
coached project managers through design and evaluation.
In addition to working for nonprofits, she
has served in leadership roles on a number of local and
international nonprofit boards. These experiences have
given
her critical understanding of organizational planning and
management
from various
perspectives.
